The Meet pop-up has been delighting us at A Bloc during the fall. The pop-up took a break during the Junction week, but will continue in A Bloc from November 19th until December 31st 2019.

Europe’s leading hackathon Junction is held in Väre and School of Business premises in Otaniemi on November 13th-17th 2019. Junction also lands in the A Bloc pop-up store from Wednesday to Sunday, November 13th-15th, as a preregistration and information point.

5G solutions developed by upper secondary school and higher education students were tested out at the A Bloc shopping centre in September.

Shopping center A Bloc was awarded at the Nordic Council of Shopping Centers Finnish Awards gala on October 8, 2019. A Bloc won the Best Innovation in Finland award at the annual competition. With the win, A Bloc will compete for the title of Best Innovation in the Nordic Countries at the NCSC Nordic Awards 2020.

September marks the first birthday of shopping center A Bloc. To celebrate the occasion, A Bloc is partnering with growth company Third Space Auto, whose drone delivery service trial begins on September 9.
